Adaptive Adventures Rafting Program
Gates of Lodore Trip
May 29 - June 1, 2009
The 2009 rafting season for Adaptive Adventures will again kick off with the Multi-Day Wilderness Rafting Trip to the Gates of Lodore in Dinosaur National Monument where we will raft the Yampa and Green Rivers. We have 5 white water rafts to put on the water, all the gear for safe running and experienced guides to lead the way. "The Adaptive Adventures wilderness rafting trip was one of the most memorable experiences of my life," commented a paralyzed participant last year. Click here for details.
NEW FOR 2009!
Adaptive Adventures Partners with Challenge Aspen to expand Adaptive rafting opportunities in Colorado
In an effort to expand and improve our rafting program, we are partnering with Challenge Aspen this summer. After completing our season opening wilderness trip, we will store and utilize all of our gear in the Roaring Fork Valley this summer. Working together, we will look to improve inventory and increase the number and experience of staff and volunteers in the program.
Under the expert leadership of experienced rafting guide and wilderness leader Kevin Jardine, the program looks to go to a new level this summer. CA will be offering a number of trips for their youth camps and Wounded Warrior groups this summer, in addition to providing some new open enrollment opportunities for people with physical disabilities and their families.
