Train The Trainer Clinics

A fundamental goal at Adaptive Adventures is to develop a greater number of participants, teachers and role models in the world of adaptive sports and recreation. One of the ways we do this is by offering the Adaptive Adventures' Train the Trainer clinic.

The Adaptive Adventures' Train the Trainer clinic provides the necessary equipment, venues and instructional training to allow organizations to safely support adaptive programs or events.

Clinics are one-day, two-day or three-day workshops and are customized to meet the business needs of our partners.

Our instructors offer a practical, hands-on approach and are a select group of experienced athletes who not only possess proven expertise in their sport, but also are able to offer a unique point of view as an individual with a disability.

Our Programs

Our Train the Trainer clinic incorporates three primary outdoor recreational areas within our organization: The Adaptive Ski School, The Aqua Experience and The Cycling Experience. Each program area focuses on state of the art equipment and innovative techniques and has a deep-seated mission to ensure client safety and satisfaction.

Benefits

  • Able bodied students and students with disabilities have the opportunity to review and discuss various teaching techniques with certified instructors capable of communicating as a potential adaptive student with a physical disability.
  • Views, issues and concerns can be communicated in a safe and knowledgeable forum.
  • Opportunity to increase resort customer base to safely include individuals of all ages with disabilities.

Our Partners

Adaptive Adventures has become a leader in the development and implementation of outdoor sports programs for individuals of all ages, with physical disabilities. To date, we have provided specialty year-round Train the Trainer clinics throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.
