Ways to Donate

There are many ways that you can get involved with Adaptive Adventures, whether you want to give money, give time or both and whether you are an individual, a family or part of an organization. However, this list is not all-inclusive.

Make effective use of planned giving techniques to help achieve lifetime financial goals: wealth transfer, estate planning, philanthropy. Consult your tax, legal, and financial advisors before taking any action but remind them that you want to include charitable giving options in your estate planning. For more information or an in-depth exchange of planned giving ideas, please contact Joel Berman, Executive Director at (866) 679-2770.

One Time Donation   Endow a Memorial Fund
Make a secure online donation using any credit or debit card and help us to help individuals of all ages with disabilities.

Make a charitable gift in honor of an important person in your life or to establish a family tradition of giving over the years.
Matching Gifts/Payroll Giving     Wish List and Gifts In Kind

Does your company have a matching gifts program? If so, you can increase the impact of your gift with the help of your employer. Its tax efficient for you and it supports our cause!

From printer cartridges to gas, we have operating costs! Helping us with our 'Wish List' items would increase our efficiency and ability to meet our goals and objectives.
A Charitable Lead Trust    Donate Appreciated Financial  Assets

Select a period of years for us to receive payments from the trust, after which the trust corpus can be transferred to your heirs or other beneficiaries. Lead trusts can be particularly tax-efficient ways to transfer wealth to a younger generation.

Avoid capital gains tax by donating appreciated stock, bonds, mutual funds or other real property or consider gifting paid-up life insurance policies when your family responsibilities decrease. Call us if you have land, buildings or other property, even stock options, you would like to donate.
A Charitable Remainder Trust    List us as beneficiary in your
tax-vulnerable qualified plans

Secure an income stream for you and your spouse, or your heirs, or provide for future payments to fund a grandchild's college education, and get an income tax deduction now. At the termination of the income payout, the charitable remainder would flow to Adaptive Adventures.

Because tax-deferred retirement arrangements like IRA's or 401(k) plans can be subject to estate and income taxes, it can be very efficient to make testamentary bequests from those accounts by naming Adaptive Adventures as beneficiary for charitable designation from these accounts.
