Elite Athlete / Instructor
Monica Bascio has been involved with Adaptive Adventures as
either an Advisory or regular Board member and coach since
2001.
2005
was yet another successful handcycling year for Monica and
here sponsors: Invacare and Adaptive Adventures. She won her
14th National Title and her fourth overall victory at the
Rocky Mountain Omnium in Colorado. She also made the US Paralympic
Cycling Team. In addition, based on her shocking performance
at the 2004 World Cup Final, Monica Bascio was just named
to the U.S. Disabled XC Ski Team. Her chances look good to
attend the 2006 Paralympic in Torino, Italy. We all wish Monica
the best in her Paralympic pursuits!
