Elite Athlete / Instructor
Chris
Canfield is an above-knee amputee who excels in many different
sports. In 2003, Chris was selected to the US Disabled Alpine
Ski Team. Currently, Chris resides in Breckenridge, CO where
he practices and competes with the "able-bodied"
race team in the winter. In the summer months, Chris is a
top notch mountain biker and golfer.
Chris
has been working with Adaptive Adventures since 2000 and is
a valuable asset for the Adaptive Adventures Ski School. Chris
is the owner and President of Telenational, Inc., a company
that donates all of the long distance phone service to our
organization.
In
addition to alpine skiing, golf, and mountain biking, Chris
is also active in many other events and activities including:
scuba, boating, and adventure trips.
