Bob Emerson
Elite Athlete / Instructor


Robert (Bob) Emerson is an above-knee amputee with vast experience in winter and summer sports on both recreational and competitive levels. Currently, Bob is instructing a several Adaptive Adventures All Mountain Ski Camps, as well as helping to develop and implement program expansions out east.

A former member of the US Disabled Ski Team, Bob now spends his time training aspiring athletes (mostly amputees) in both alpine skiing and water-skiing. Bob has been involved with Adaptive Adventures for the past three years.

Bob Emerson works full-time in the prosthetics field and currently makes regular trips to Walter Reed Army Medical Center to work with recent amputees from the Iraq war.

Bob and his family currently reside in New Hampshire.
