Jim Harlan
Elite Athlete / Instructor

Jim Harlan is a C-6 Quadriplegic, who works as a ski-patroller and teacher in Crested Butte, CO. In addition to being a top flight alpine skier, Jim is also the 2002 HCA World Champion Handcyclist, and reigning HCA U.S. Champion in the Road Race and Time Trial. Additionally, Jim is the only Quad to complete the entire Ride the Rockies event covering over 400 miles in the Colorado Rockies.

Jim has been working with Adaptive Adventures since 1980 and is a valuable asset for the Adaptive Adventures cycling program.

In addition to alpine skiing and cycling, Jim is also active in many other events and activities including: paddle sports, back country skiing, and adventure trips.
