Hey everybody .... This is the first of several updates on me. As many of you already know, I'm a competitive cyclist and I'm trying to make the US Paralympic team. My first (and hopefully the only chance I'll need) to make the team is coming up quickly. I am driving to Pittsburgh tomorrow for the US National Road Championships. I'll be there for a week, and will compete in a 20K time trial (race against the clock). Then I'll move on to Trexlertown (aka T-Town) for Track Nationals where I will spend another six days. My races there will be a 500m time trial, and a 3k pursuit (two people start on opposite sides of the track, and try to catch each other)
I'm not sure if I'll have computer access while I'm gone, but check my site for updates. I'll try to keep everyone posted on my progress at nationals and in the rest of my endeavors. Hopefully I'll come back with a Stars and Stripes jersey to wear around town.
Have a great summer! Greta

Hey hey! I come bringing good news! I just got back from Nationals today with some hardware and a spot on the US Paralympic Cycling team. The official announcement will come out tomorrow or Tuesday from US Paralympics. In addition to making the regular team, I also earned a spot on the World Championship squad that will compete in Aigle, Switzerland this September. We competed in 3 events, a 17.7km Time Trial on the Road, a 500m TT and 3km pursuit on the track. I won my division (LC1) for the road TT, and placed 3rd in the women's overall. At the track I placed 4th in both events in the women's overall. I'll be posting pictures on my site soon, but I've also attached some. Greta
